Recurring vet check-ups will also help you make sure your Bambino Kitten is a healthy weight & check for issues like heartworms. You’ll give these pills to your cat once per month to prevent mosquitoes from possibly passing heartworms to your Cat which can be fatal. If you don’t plan on breeding your Cat it’s also a good idea to talk to the vet about spaying or neutering. This helps prevent issues with other Cats, improves behavior & eliminates some potential health issues.
Our Cattery Mission
We focus on improvement of the breed. What this means to us is that we always make a conscious effort to study the health, temperament, conformation and pedigrees of our Cats, and make any needed improvements when planning our breeding. When we breed, we are always looking for our next home bred champion! or better still good and perfect homes.
Testimonials
What people say about us and about our beautiful kittens
Working with Kim was a breeze throughout the adoption process! She went to great lengths to ensure that everything went as smoothly as possible. From the beginning, our little Calypso is really affectionate and gentle. Not to mention in peak physical condition! If you’re seeking to adopt a Bambino Kitten, these are the people to contact!!
CHRITY CALYPSO
My wife and I are allergic to cats and dogs to the point of death. We discovered Orientals ten years ago and bought one from Bambino kittens cattery, followed by another kitten eight years later, and now another kitten three months ago. If we pet them and then rub our eyes, we can still have a mild reaction. Almost imperceptible! It’s really worthwhile to have them in our lives!
KEVIN GEARLDS
We purchased Luka from Bambino kittens cattery around 8 years ago because I am allergic to cats. I take allergy medication on a daily basis. I ran out of medicines recently and went a week without them. I’ve never had an issue snuggling with him every day, even when I wasn’t on medicines. The best decision I’ve ever made.
KEVIN GEORGE
Our Bambino Kitten has been with us for 9 years. My daughter has known them since she was a child. Recently, we acquired a different breed of kitten. My daughter has a Bambino allergy. Because she has only been around Bambino Kittens, she had no idea she was allergic to cats! But we are happy to when we buy Bambino Cat from Bambino kittens cattery.

VANDER WALLE
Although I am not allergic to cats, we adopted our little boy through Bambino kittens cattery. We went him to see a beloved friend who has a cat allergy. We stayed there for a few days. She held him against her face and nuzzled him without any allergic reaction. She went to Bambino Cats & Kittens to get a kitten for her mother, who lives with her. And She hasn’t had any allergies since then, which is two years ago.
KATIE TORRES
My beautiful boy has me completely smitten! He’s incredible and kind, and he gets along with kids, cats, and dogs. We took off right away! After all, why not? Kim clearly understands what she’s doing. Mom and dad get to stay with their kittens right up until they go for their new homes, which is my favorite part! I’ve never met somebody who is that accommodating. She takes you through every step of the process. Answers all of the issues and queries. It even teaches you how to care for such a magnificent creature. And, unlike others, she ensures that you can communicate with her after you’ve received your bundle of joy. A++ from Saint Oriental kittens cattery.
JULIETTA KARMINE
Getting a new cat from someone you’ve never met might be frightening and risky. I reside in Ohio, and in December, I adopted Nelly, a beautiful cat from Bambino kittens cattery. Despite the fact that we were separated by thousands of miles, Kim made me feel quite at ease and safe about my purchase. She is extremely knowledgeable and thorough in every area of obtaining a high-quality kitten. My Nelly is a lovely young lady who is sweet, intelligent, well-acquainted, and attractive! Have no apprehensions about going through Bambino kittens cattery. With all the scammers out there, I can tell you that she is exactly what they claim to be. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR EVERYONE! Thank you very much!

Bambino Kittens
The Bambino kittens are a truly unique and captivating breed. With their hairless bodies and adorable short legs, these kittens are sure to steal your heart. Bambinos are a cross between the Sphynx and the Munchkin breeds, resulting in a feline companion that is both charming and distinctive.
One of the standout features of the Bambino is their lack of fur. While some may think this makes them less cuddly, these kittens are actually incredibly soft to the touch. Their skin is warm and velvety, making them the perfect snuggle buddy on a chilly night. Despite their hairless appearance, Bambinos are known for their warm and affectionate nature, making them wonderful companions for both individuals and families.
Another characteristic that sets the Bambino apart is their short legs. This trait comes from their Munchkin lineage, giving them a unique and adorable appearance. Despite their small stature, Bambinos are active and playful. They love to explore their surroundings and engage in interactive play, making them a delight to watch and interact with.

Active: Bambino cats are a moderately active cat breed. They enjoy playing, being silly and engaging in different interactive and challenging play like puzzles or toys but they also very much enjoy relaxing and resting with their favorite humans.
Size: Bambino cats are medium in size, with medium boning. They typically weigh between 5 – 9 pounds.
Characteristics: The Bambino cat breed has two very distinct features that set them apart in the cat fancy – they have very short legs and are hairless. While their body size is a normal, medium-sized body that appears quite muscular, their legs are very short like their Munchkin relatives. Additionally, they are a hairless cat breed with wrinkles all over their body. Their tail is proportionate to the size of their body and is hairless, though some have what is known as a “lions tail” with a small tuft of fur on the end. Bambinos have a modified wedge-shaped head with large almond eyes that are slightly slanted and wide set and because of the hairlessness of the cat, standout and seem to peer right into your soul.
Temperament: Bambino cats are friendly, gentle, affectionate cats that make great family pets who love to socialize and play. Just like the Munchkin cat, the short legs of the Bambino do not slow it down one bit. They love racing around the house at high speeds, entertaining all who will watch. These sweet cats enjoy being carried around and cuddled by their favorite humans and, though they are hairless, feel quite warm to the touch which makes them a joy to snuggle.
Care: Much like other hairless cats, they need to be routinely bathed, ideally every 2 weeks to prevent oil from building up on the skin which will make them feel greasy. Additionally, Bambinos should be a primarily indoor cat because exposure to the elements can quickly make them cold or even burn their skin without the normal protection of fur.
Coat: Bambino cats are a hairless cat breed but they do have a very fine down on their body that helps keep them warm.
Origin: Bambino cats are a unique-looking, small, hairless cat that is a mix between Munchkin cats and Sphynx cats. Bambino kittens were first registered in 2005 when breeders Pat and Stephanie Osborne took a liking to the breed and did genetic research to confirm that they were a healthy cat breed. The Osbornes chose the name Bambino, which means “baby” in Italian because Bambinos have short legs like their Munchkin relatives and are hairless like their Sphynx relatives. In 2006, the Osbornes contacted TICA (The International Cat Association) to get their new breed of Bambinos registered and TICA granted them Experimental New Breed status.
